MLT Minet Lacing Technology was founded in 1947 with one aim: to manufacture conveyor belt fasteners, and quality lacing adapted to the needs, and easy to use. Minet Lacing Technology objective is, and will always be, that of its beginnings, and which established its success.

The company generates 85% of its sales in more than 120 countries around the world and also has 8 subsidiaries : United States, Peru, Spain, Germany, South Africa and Australia and very soon Morocco and Russia.
History
1945
3 Saint Etienne (France) coal mines engineers (M. Notin, M. Leflon, and M. Plagnol) came to the same conclusion : « there is no optimal way to repair conveyor belts».
1947
Official establishment of MINET in Saint-Chamond (Loire – France). The company manufactures hinge fasteners, adhesives, vulcanizing presses, special belts and vulcanizes belts.
1993
The JAKOB family thru ASER buys MINET.
ASER applies for patents and grants exclusives worldwide licences to MINET.
1995
MINET develops flexibles lacings (Super-Screw® and PVC/PU lacings).
